No one should have to choose between their family’s health and the children’s education. While there is a lot more to be done, new federal funding will help ensure that our schools have the resources they need to provide a world-class education while protecting our children’s wellbeing.
One of my top priorities throughout the pandemic has been ensuring support for frontline and essential workers. As safe, affordable child care has been a major concern throughout the pandemic, I’m glad to see the federal government has taken action.
